If you want travel join the Navy, they are never at homeIf you want a structured career join the RAF, their life is fairly well mapped out when they sign upIf you want to drive a truck or work in Logistics join the Army,When you say logistics what do you mean? There is Warehousing, supply, Transporting, Controlling etc etc, in the Army different units do different jobs, The Royal Logistics Corps would be where you want, but it is made up from the old Royal Corps of Transport, The Royal Army Ordnance Corps, Some sections of the Royal Engineers and the Catering Corps, and all of these were made up of different types of units like Maritime, postal, Air Dispatch, Transport and movements and freight services etc etc, to be honest I loved my time in the RCT as a Driver Radio operator, but times have changed a lot since I was there. You should talk to the local Army and Air Force careers offices near you for adviseGood luck what ever you choose, as long as you are prepared to get shot at it isn't a bad job.

I don't know many people who have been in the Forces and not looked back on it with fond memories, and found some good friends in the process. Hi mate.I was in the RLC for 8 years, got out in 2001.Take it from me, do Logistics in the RAF!!!!!I was in two large Transport Regiments, 1 Sqn 10 Tpt Regt and 7 Sqn 27 Tpt Regt. I loved it, but driving in the RLC is very limited. You are either getting hammered for operational tours or you are on the vehicle park doing A jobs. You might be lucky and get the odd detail once a month but most of the time you are keeping the trucks maintained. The Army now use civilian drivers for all the best jobs. The RAF have a lot more interesting places to be posted to, the accommodation is 100 times better, the chicks are a 100 times better looking, the food is 100 times better (we had Sergeants serving us at Brize Norton when I was on my Parachute Course) and they do all their own transport.
Also I'm sure PT is an individual thing, not like when I was in the RLC, having to do Sqn PT Tues, Weds, Thurs and Battle PT on a Fri.Get in the RAF, you will love it!!! Para's had 'em for breakfast when I was attached to 5 AB Bde in Aldershot in the 80's.Not trying to stir it up or anything but why can a royal marine get the para's wings but a para cant get the dagger?when i was training as a chef at aldershot for the navy there were loads of para's wearing t-shirts with 'god is airborne' on them, my instructor (a C/SGT RM) got one made up with 'god is airborne' on the front and on the back had 'cos he's a fanny and failed the commando course', it didnt go down too well in the pubs but caused a bit of a stir to say the least!
